Hannah + Atticus | A Perry Hotel Wedding in Petoskey

Hannah and Atticus celebrated their June wedding in Petoskey, Michigan, with a ceremony at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a reception at Stafford’s Perry Hotel. The lake, the hotel’s historic setting, and the people they love gave the day its character. Personal details brought it all together.

Futtitinni Events supported Hannah throughout the planning process and carried that work through the wedding day. This is the part of planning we love: helping a couple connect their decisions, make room for what matters, and see the whole celebration come together.

A Petoskey setting with a clear sense of place

The wedding party’s black dresses and tuxedos, paired with Hannah’s ballgown, gave the photographs a clean, classic look. At the Perry Hotel, the setting provided its own atmosphere. The lake views and familiar Northern Michigan surroundings became part of the story.

For couples considering a Perry Hotel wedding, the setting is only one piece of the plan. A church ceremony, portraits around Petoskey, and a hotel reception each need time and attention. Connecting those pieces is what makes the day work for the couple, their guests, and the vendor team.

Making room for the moments that mattered

Before the ceremony, Hannah and Atticus shared a first look and private vows on the hotel’s porch. Hannah also surprised Atticus with cufflinks featuring their dog’s face. It was a small detail with a very personal meaning.

Moments like these deserve space in the schedule. We approach a wedding timeline around the experience a couple wants to have, alongside the practical needs of the day. Time together, photographs, travel, and the ceremony all have to fit into one workable plan.

A keepsake collected by hand

One of our favorite reception details was the Petoskey stone at each guest’s seat. Hannah and her mom spent months collecting them before the wedding, turning a connection to the area into something guests could take home.

It was personal, rooted in the place, and chosen with care. Those are the details that stay with us: something that has a story before it ever reaches the table.

The planning behind the celebration

Our work with Hannah extended throughout the planning process. By the wedding day, the individual decisions had become a shared plan for the celebration. Supporting the couple and keeping that plan moving was as much a part of the wedding as the details visible in the photographs.

If you’re planning a wedding in Petoskey or elsewhere in Northern Michigan, we can help you find the level of support that fits your plans. Inquire about wedding planning with Futtitinni Events.
